Lost in a room somewhere . . .

Lights go down. . . . the music fades.
Alone in the dark . . . forgotten
No light, just four bare walls
All the same.
The glowing florescent ground in a dark green.
Just glowing enough to see my bare feet
Pins and needles on my skin
A rush up my spine
The air is thick . . . so thick
Holding on a little longer.
For no reason at all
I'm lost
No one will find me
But I like the darkness
I cling to the silence
I love it here
Alone
In the dark
Lost
